Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
The Heart and Stroke Foundation is a national voluntary non-profit organization
whose mission is to further the study, prevention and reduction of disability
and death from heart disease and stroke through research, education and the
promotion of healthy lifestyles. In recent years, the Foundation has also taken
a leadership role in advocating for heart healthy public policy.
Canadian Paraplegic Association Ontario
Today, with divisions in all ten provinces and 47 regional offices, CPA
provides a wide variety of services to a membership of more than 30,000 Canadians
who have a spinal cord injury or other mobility impairment.
Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada
The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada was founded in 1948 by a small
group of dedicated volunteers in Montreal. Today it is the only national
voluntary organization in Canada that supports both MS research and services
for people with MS and their families.
