We are a practice of physiotherapists with a special interest in the treatment of neurologically impaired individuals. We are university trained health professionals, members of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, and have participated extensively in post graduate courses in neurotherapy.

Julie is the clinic owner and Principal of Physio-Logic and she maintains a clinical case load at the Physio-Logic North York office location. Julie is currently enrolled in a part-time M.Sc program at Leeds Metropolitan University UK and is planning on starting her research thesis in September 2007. Julie is also a member of the Canadian Bobath Instructors Association (CBIA) and provides post-graduate clinical Bobath courses for Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapists across Canada and Internationally.
Assistant Therapist
Sarah joined the Physio-Logic team at the North York location, in the position of Assistant Therapist, in April 2010. In 2009, Sarah graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University in Hamilton and moved to the Toronto area from London ON in April of 2010. A strong athletic background, playing numerous sports as a child and more intensely pursuing gymnastics and rugby, will help Sarah in assisting the physiotherapists to work with clients. She will be applying her skills to help clients work on core stabilization and strengthening, flexibility, balance and overall strength, as well as work on the body weight supported treadmill. Sarah is excited to use her acquired knowledge and skills of hands-on treatment to the rehabilitative process at Physio-Logic in order to improve the health and comfort of the clients as well as gain experience regarding neurological conditions/injuries and treatment. The knowledge gained with respect to this field of rehabilitation will assist Sarah in the future as she plans on pursuing a career in physiotherapy.

Physiotherapist
Kate joins the Physio-Logic team having recently moved from
Vancouver where she worked in private neurological rehabilitation
in both clinic and community settings. Prior to this she worked in
acute care in both neurology and spine units. She graduated from
the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics
and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Kate has been a teaching assistant for
the neuroanatomy and instructor of the adult clinical neurology component of the
master’s of physical therapy program at the University of British Columbia. Kate is
currently a member of the Bobath Instructor training program with the Canadian Bobath
Instructors Association (CBIA) and has completed advanced level Bobath training.

Physiotherapist
Bonnie has been working in the field of neurological rehabilitation since 2003 and has extensive experience working with spinal cord injuries. She is a trained Bobath Therapist and has completed numerous post-graduate neurotherapy courses. She also has experience providing hydrotherapy and teaching return to swimming in an outpatient setting.
Bonnie has a strong interest in Pilates and is a trained Pilates instructor. She has a particular interest in integrating pilates and rehabilitation, particularly neurorehabilitation.
She is also an ADP authorizer for the assessment and prescription of mobility devices.

Physiotherapist
Jaime graduated from the University of Toronto; Master of Physical Therapy Program in 2007. She has experience working with individuals with neurological conditions through acute care and rehabilitation. Her research experience includes a publication investigating pain in individuals who have spinal cord injuries. Jaime has undertaken post-graduate neurological clinical courses and is a certified Neurological Developmental Treatment (NDT/Bobath) therapist. Jaime also has an interest in international disability issues, and is a member of the international centre for disability and rehabilitation.

Associate Physiotherapist
Previously a full time member of the Physio-Logic team, Maureen now provides part time physiotherapy services for Physio-Logic. Maureen has worked in the field of neurorehabilitation since 1992 and has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of individuals who have sustained an acquired brain injury, stroke or incomplete spinal cord injury. She has worked across the continuum of care and has recently decided to gain further experience in the acute/sub-acute rehabilitation setting.

Cheryl graduated from Queen’s University, Kingston, Physical Therapy Program in 2003. Cheryl joined the Physio-Logic team in May 2008 and brought a wealth of neurological experience with her. Cheryl has worked in all fields of the continuum of care including acute, rehabilitation and community settings and therefore brings a broad holistic approach to patient care. Cheryl is an Advanced trained Bobath therapist and is skilled in the treatment of the neurologically impaired client. She is also trained in ‘Vestibular Rehabilitation.’

Darryl is working part-time in the Physio-Logic Yorkville clinic. Darryl is also a contemporary dance artist and one of Canada's most sought after teachers of movement and dance. He teaches anatomy, movement/dance and injury prevention throughout GTA and abroad. Darryl has spearheaded many new projects for individuals with neurological injuries including an exercise video for individuals with Parkinson's Disease, a Fitness Centre at TRI-Lyndhurst Centre, and educating other specialists (fitness trainers/PTA's and attendants) about the needs of the neurologically impaired population. Hydrotherapy/ swimming and the use of water as a medium for rehabilitation is a specialty of Darryl's.
